Prepare to be amazed as you discover the origins of chocolate, how to make it, and even how to taste it like a true connoisseur. Our knowledgeable tour guides will take you on a journey through York's confectionary past and present, from the exotic origins of chocolate in the rainforests of Central America to the cobbled streets of Yorkshire, learning all about York's most famous chocolate-making families and their finest creations. You'll uncover surprising secrets and fascinating facts behind York's greatest chocolate products, from the iconic Chocolate Orange to the globally renowned KitKat. But the fun doesn't stop there!
Get hands-on experience and craft your very own chocolate lolly, personalising your design with a selection of chocolate toppings before packaging your creation to take home. You'll even witness a live demonstration from one of our Chocolatiers before heading down to our café and gift shop, where you can shop a range of delectable chocolate treats and delicious drinks.
